Have fun with middle schoolers!

My friend is running this event and they are at a SEVERE SHORTAGE for
tour guides.

INDE 262: Practicum in Community Health Interventions is hosting a field
trip at Stanford for 7th and 8th grade classes from Hoover Magnent School
in Redwood City. We will be inviting them to our campus THIS WEDNESDAY,
November 16th and have them tour around Stanford. As such, we need
volunteers to help serve as tour guides where we will be visiting Memorial
Church and Hoover Tower. This event was a big success last year and those
that volunteered loved working with the kids. The detailed information is

WHAT: Volunteer as Tour Guides for Hoover-Stanford field trip. NO
preparation necessary, we will have scripts for you.


Two time slots: Morning: 9-11:30am Afternoon: 11:30am-2:00pm

WHERE: Morning people: Meet at the medical school in the hallway of M-112
(After entering the medical school from the entrance near Fairchild
auditorium, go up the stairs on the immediate right. On the second floor,
take the first right and that's the hallway).

Afternoon people: Meet at the lawn in front of Clark Center (and adjacent to
the medical school closest to campus drive)

WHY: You get to work with 7th and 8th graders who are excited about being at
Stanford and excited about you. FREE LUNCH IS PROVIDED
