IEEE Mentoring Program Workshop
January 5, 2011
5:30-7pm
Packard 101

Open to students from all disciplines

Are you interested in establishing a mentoring relationship with an alum?
Stanford IEEE is partnering with Stanford Alumni Mentoring to provide a mentorship program for students of all disciplines. We invite you to an orientation event to learn about and apply to the program. Both undergrads and graduate students are welcome.

RSVP
(for food, but event is open to all students)

SAM is an organization that connects current Stanford students with alumni in one-on-one, on-going mentoring relationships.  During this IEEE session, participants will have the opportunity to hear from an alumni mentor, sign-up, create a profile, and begin the mentor search and request process.  Our on-line website allows students to search for and request mentors. You are encouraged to bring your laptop so you can actively participate in this program session.

Past participants say that SAM is a great way to get ready for the real world. Starting early with a mentor can help you make the most of your time at Stanford, navigate graduate school, work, and life after Stanford. Students interested in getting a head start, please complete the SAM Application Form http://mentoring.stanford.edu/
