"Do you get nervous before giving a speech in front of the class?  A little nervousness is natural, but too much can be detrimental as class participation is often critical for grades and making a good impression on faculty and potential employers. Come get tips on public speaking from Xinhong Lim, PhD Candidate in Developmental Biology '12 and an Oral Communications Tutor from the Center for Teaching and Learning."

The Speaker Series, sponsored by the Asian American Activities Center (A3C), is your opportunity to meet faculty and staff in an informal setting.  All sessions are from noon-1PM at the A3C, located on the 2nd floor of the Old Union Clubhouse.

A free lunch is provided.
